Rally to show our state legislators that we care about access to midwives in California!
Birthing freedom in California is at risk unless you raise your voice.
We'll post more as we organize all the details! Here's what we know so far:

Rally: 11 am

DETAILS:
GATHERING PLACE: We want to minimize the amount of time you are outside in the heat, especially with small children. We'll gather for the rally in the basement rotunda, and then head to the steps as a group.
SECURITY: Please allow extra time to pass through the mandatory security check at the front door.
HEAT: It will be hot! We'll bring along extra supplies, but please come prepared with water, sunscreen, and protective gear like sun hats.
ATTIRE: Business casual attire is appropriate at the State Capitol.

MEDIA: We have reached out to reporters and expect some to attend the rally. We've planned ahead with a spokesperson, Adeola Adeseun, the president of CFAM. Constance Rock from CAM has also agreed to be on hand. If a reporter approaches you for a quote or information about the bill, please feel free to direct them to either spokesperson.
