California's first Licensed Midwife Associate of Science degree program

Community Information Session — March 13

In the Fall of 2024, CAM identified Cerro Coso Community College as the pilot community college to house California's first Licensed Midwife Associate of Science degree program.

As we continue ahead toward the program's anticipated launch in Fall 2026, you may attend any of our community information sessions to learn more about the program, what it takes to become a licensed midwife, and the growing need for midwives and midwives of color to help address maternal health outcomes in the state of California.

This page is the registration page for the onsite session in San Diego on March 13 @ 6:30 PM.

Many thanks to CAM & Monarch Midwifery for hosting this session with CALM.

Speaker: Tema Mercado, LM, and Naomi Soto
