Periodically we meet virtually to discuss what's happening around the state for community midwives and what's going on at CALM, too. Join in, as well, to inform CALM about what's happening with community birth in your region.
In July, our topic is on plans for the Licensed Midwife Associate of Science Degree at Cerro Coso Community College -- progress, Q&A, feedback and general discussion. This meeting will be open to any and all midwives in California and midwife students.
At this informal Ask CALM Anything, we'll have updates on the progress of the program start-up, take questions, and get feedback about potential clinical sites and preceptors for the program.
Facilitating the discussion is CALM President Rosanna Davis LM, and Hilary Schlinger, CNM, MS, CPM-ret, midwife education consultant to CALM.
When you register, watch for the Zoom details in an email confirmation and reminder the day before.
