Birthing From Within is coming to the Bay area for a training for newbies and seasoned professionals and has created a discount specifically for CAM members interested in learning more!
Birthing From Within exists to inspire and teach expectant and new parents, and those who work with them, to:

Understand the power and life-long impact that "birthing from within" offers all participants in birth.

Co-create holistic prenatal care that is informative, transformative, and builds a foundation for birthing in awareness in our birth culture, whatever the birth location or outcome or events of the birth.

Prevent or minimize emotionally difficult births (for parents and professionals) through compassionate, honest preparation.

Honor and use the power of Birth Storytelling and listening.
This three-day workshop is an introduction to the philosophy of Birthing From Within and is designed for mothers, midwives, doulas, nurses, therapists, childbirth educators, breastfeeding counselors, and yoga teachers who want to empower parents to experience a “birth from within.”
Special for CAM members! Birthing From Within has created a $35 discount, just for CAM members. Register using the code CAM35. (Locals can also choose to JUST attend the first day for $160.)
Midwives and nurses earn 20 contact hours through the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider #12800. The workshop runs December 4-6, 2015, 9am to 6pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
